Wine tourism is a major 2022 wine trends. Many Italian and foreign visitors choose to spend a weekend in a winery, a mill, or places where typical products are produced to learn the secrets of winemaking and see, step by step, the transformation process. As for the world of wine, globally; Growth Capital estimates a global value for the wine industry of 245.6 billion euros in 2021, which will become 305.2 billion by 2025, with an annual growth rate of 6%.
WHAT DOES ALL THIS HAVE TO DO
WITH THE METAVERSE?
Ready or not, the metaverse is changing the world as we know it, and the ‘Autumn 2022’ edition has drawn a clear line to separating the past from the present and future.
Perceiving the new opportunities that the metaverse offers and will continue to offer the world of wine and wine tourism, it remains to be seen how much current demand and how much demand there will be in the future for digital assets such as open spaces designed as a showcase for a region or winery, and how long it will take for this to be widely adopted on a global scale.
On April 20th and 21st, we will be witnessing two days of extraordinary interventions by experts in communication, Web3, marketing, metaverse, NFTs, tourism and, of course, wine, through which we will try to answer the myriad questions that surround this new universe and its interactions with food, wine and tourism, at the same time helping wine and tourism companies build a strategies for the next evolution of the digital age.
